TEMILONDON | 10 Reasons I Can't Wait For #BlackPanther

I know we are all excited to watch Black Panther this February, but if I pull up to the cinema and somebody is wearing Gele in front of me and blocking my view YOU GON CATCH THESE HANDSSSSS!!! LOL

Black Panther is about to hit the cinemas February 12th and clearly everybody and their MAMA'S AUNTY is excited! Can you blame us?

Marvel are playing no games with the promotion!

Black Panther will be the eighteenth film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The superhero was created by comic book writers Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. The movie was directed by Ryan Croogler who also directed Fruitvale Station and Creed.

With a star studded cast including Chadwick Boseman, Michael B Jordan (The girl dems multivitamin providing vitamins B D and E)

Lupita Nyongo, Angela Bassett, Forest Whitaker, Daniel Kaluuya - he clearly GOT OUT (Okay you know what it's 2018 we have to stop the Get Out jokes that's my last one I promise)

Here's 10 reasons why I cant wait for Black Panther to snatch my edges.

1) CGI on hypnotic - if you know me, you know I loveeeee a good visual. Marvel have invested all their vibranium (if you don't get it google baby) into this film because these visuals... AESTHETICSSSSSS SIS!!!

2) Costume Design - 2 X Oscar nominated costume designer Ruth E Carter, is the mastermind behind the spectacular fashion in the movie. With a resume including films such as Selma, Malcolm X and Amistad, it's clear Carter has been honouring black history through fashion in the film industry.

Carter definitely brought to life the beauty, excellence and wealth of African culture through fashion. Inspired by high fashion and traditional African attire, intricate beading anbd colours everything is a sight to see! She worked with five illustrators, 14 designers, mold makers, fabric dyers, jewellery makers and more. WOOOW!

Check her instagram to see where she drew inspiration for the blockbuster!

3) Wakanda - Wakanda to me represents Africa if African rulers weren't so easily bought and infiltrated by the western world (but we aren't going to get into all of that today).

4) T'Challas and Wakandas net worth - T'Challa is worth an estimated $90.7 TRILLION. Is this the richest superhero in Marvel? I'm trying to see how a man with $90 trillion is living.. Whats a lambo? ISSA SPACE BOAT!!! G15 baby.  Lifestyle.

5) Michael B Jordan - is giving amazing villain tease in the trailer and I can't wait to see how he performs as the thorn of his people.

6) Angela Bassetts Grey Hair - is more than enough of a reason for me to want to see this film  (are you seeing this hair - come throughhhhh platinum grey frontal.
WHAT FRONTAL SIS?

7) Chadwick Boseman - Sorry fellas you can skip this point. Ladies don't act like you're not checking for Chadwick in this film YOU KNOW YOU LOOKING. Come through Pantherrrrrrrrrrrr.

8) Klaw - The first trailer introduced us to Klaw straight away. Klaw is an arch enemy of Black Panther, he wants vibranium and he wants it BAD! He'll be working alongside Killmonger in order to gain access into Wakanda.

9) Dora Milanje - Black Panther's Female Wakandan Army - are the personal bodyguards of the Black Panther, recruited from every tribe of Wakanda. The Dora Milaje are superior Wakandan women and were assembled as potential queens for an unmarried king.

10) Most importantly Black Panther is a watch for everybodyyyyyy. I've seen a lot of posts on Black excellence and I agree it's amazing to see posters booming with Black Excellence however, lets not create a divide invite everybody to watch the film. If you really want to support Black Panther help them make money.

How? Get ANY AND EVERYONE TO GO WATCH AND GIVE THEIR COINNNNNN!!! If we create a divide the film won't get the numbers it deserves and remember it's a comic, comics come in all shapes, sizes and colours. So tell a friend to tell their aunty's brother to go and watch BLACK PANTHER and to bring all his colleagues OKAY!!!

SIDE NOTE: If you want to wear Ankara by all means do your thing. But you will NOT be sitting in front of me with Gele I'll tell you that for FREE.
